
Before joining Epic Academy, Dennis Scherer worked as a Parts Sourcing Specialist at Safelite Auto Glass for three years. Prior to that, he spent two years at PSI in Sharonville, Ohio. Dennis retired from Procter & Gamble in 2012 after a 22-year career, during which he worked in various departments, including Customer Service, the Import Customs Office, and Export Controls.
Earlier in his life, Dennis served as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy for four years. During his service, he cared for dependent children and worked in an administrative role, managing medical boards for both retiring officers and enlisted personnel.
A native of Cincinnati, Dennis and his wife, Linda, have lived in the Greater Cincinnati area their entire lives. They recently celebrated 50 years of marriage and have two daughters and one son. One daughter and their son are both married, and they have five grandchildren, all of whom live in the area.
In his free time, Dennis enjoys landscaping, working on home improvement projects, and camping during the spring, summer, and fall in their Fifth Wheel Camper, which is located in a private campground in Wilmington, OH. He also enjoys spending time with his pets, which include an Olde English Bulldog puppy named Gus, a Boston Terrier named Bella, and a cat named Olive.
