Clorisa is originally from the Cincinnati area but spent several years living in various places before returning to be closer to family. She is a graduate of Jefferson Community and Technical College’s Airframe and Powerplant Program and earned her FAA Certificate in 2013. Clorisa began her A&P technician career at Bombardier, where she worked on a variety of tasks within their “C” check program. She then moved to PSA Airlines to gain experience with line maintenance for the same aircraft on which she had previously performed “C” checks. Over the years, Clorisa has worked on CRJ-200, CRJ-700, and CRJ-900 aircraft, both as a line technician and during “C” checks. She has also worked on the B767-200 and B767-300 as a line technician, eventually becoming a lead technician in 2022.
In October 2024, Clorisa joined Epic’s teaching staff, where she has been developing projects that challenge and engage her students. She is currently working toward earning both an associate’s degree in Applied Science and a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Administration.
Outside of work, Clorisa is devoted to her cats and enjoys hobbies such as puzzle-based games, herpetology, and carcinology. She is also a dedicated volunteer for several addiction and alcohol recovery centers and has previously volunteered at facilities supporting individuals with mental and physical disabilities in their recovery from substance abuse.
