From Cocoa Beach, Florida, Christian Duran began his aviation journey at Melbourne Flight School, where he earned his Private Pilot Certificate. He later continued his training at Epic Flight Academy in 2024, completing his Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine, CFI, and CFII certificates. Having trained extensively at Epic, returning as a flight instructor for a sense of completion for Christian, as it is where he developed both his skills and his passion for teaching.
Christian is excited to mentor the next generation of aviators, emphasizing safety, professionalism, and confidence in every lesson. Outside of aviation, he enjoys playing soccer, pickleball, surfing and staying active in the gym, bringing the same discipline and teamwork from sports into his role as an instructor.
Proud to be part of the Epic team, Christian looks forward to sharing his knowledge and passion for aviation with students as they pursue their own dreams in the skies.
