Austin Schad is a CFI, originally from Tucson AZ. Growing up so close to a military base and airport, he started his passion for aviation while watching planes soar through the sky. Aviation is his second career, he comes from a military and law enforcement background. His aviation journey began at a local part 61 school where he earned his private pilot license. Austin then began the rest of his journey with Epic Flight Academy progressing through CFII training. In his off time, he enjoys spending time with his family and pets. His hobbies include working with wood, skiing, working out, and enjoying a good comedy show.
