COVID-19 Protocols and Policies

The health and well-being of our students and staff remains our number one priority. Epic Flight Academy follows U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance to help keep everyone as safe as possible.

We strongly urge all staff and students and their families to get vaccinated against COVID-19. We see widespread vaccination as the single most important step toward fully normal operations at our academy. Vaccines are readily available and free for all individuals. Please take personal responsibility and get vaccinated now, if you have not yet done so.

Face masks remain your choice on our campus. We strongly encourage you to follow the health guidelines provided by the CDC. Vaccinated as well as unvaccinated people in regions of high or substantial transmission have been advised to mask up indoors to slow the spread of the extremely transmissible Delta variant.

Wash your hands. If you are experiencing symptoms commonly associated with COVID-19 and/or any of its variants (such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, flushed cheeks, rapid breathing or difficulty breathing, fatigue, or extreme fussiness), you should stay home.

If at any time you believe conditions to be unsafe, you should immediately contact your supervisor to report the unsafe condition.  If your supervisor fails to adequately address the condition, you should immediately notify Shay McCalla.

We are following best practices to keep facilities and high-touch surfaces clean and sanitized.
