Epic Flight Academy is an international flight school. We accept qualified international students from around the world and have trained commercial pilots from over 80 countries. We are proud to continue expanding our worldwide network of successful graduates. If you wish to complete your flight training with us, you will need to come to New Smyrna Beach, Florida. You must move here to start your training since your entire training takes place on our campus.
We are an international flight school located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA. After you apply and are accepted we will send you the documents needed to apply for the M1 student visa.
Here are our Admission Requirements:
-Have a valid passport
-Have high school diploma or equivalent
-Be at least 18 years old
-Have proof of funds for training

In order to become a student you must first meet the following requirements:
1) Age – You must be at least 17 years of age.
2) English – You must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language proficiently. (English is the standard language for aviation).
3) Passport – You must have a valid passport.
4) School – You must have completed high school or secondary education. (Your marks or grades are not important, just that you completed school).
5) Financing – You must have funding to pay for your education at Epic Flight Academy. This is a question we get asked a lot. Unfortunately, we do not provide loans or scholarships. 6) Come to New Smyrna Beach, Florida – You must move here to start your training. Your entire training takes place on our campus. We have housing options for you.

Epic is the only flight school located at our airport. As the only flight academy here at the New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport (KEVB), students have the comfort of a low traffic, towered airport, and Air Traffic Controllers experienced with student pilots, as they ease into their flight training. With many surrounding public airports that don’t charge airport taxes or landing fees, aspiring pilots are able to soar through their training in the perfect pilot training environment.
Epic’s campus is strategically located in sunny New Smyrna Beach, Florida where flight training is available year-round. In fact, more than 50% of the world’s flight training takes place in Florida because of the weather which is ideal for flight training year-round. Florida, in particular Central Florida, has become the number one place in the world for international flight training because of the weather and the amount of resources and talent available including aircraft and certified flight instructors. Companies like SpaceX operate in central Florida for these same reasons.

We do have student housing accommodations just 10 minutes away from the Epic Flight Academy campus. We provide transportation to and from the campus. The units are fully furnished to include furniture, bedding, microwave, stove, refrigerator, TV and wireless internet. The cost of housing is not included in the cost of flight training. Hello! This is a common question, understandably. By design, the course can be completed in six months. That being said, length of study depends largely on a student’s individual dedication to completing their courses and how frequently they fly. Most students will obtain their commercial certification in 8-12 months. If you visit this section of our website you can choose the program you are interested in and read more about it.
