ParticipantWhat types of flight training programs do you offer? Are your instructors certified and how much flying experience do they have? What is the average student-to-instructor ratio? Can I start training with no prior flying experience, or do I need to meet any prerequisites? What are the costs for training and what does the price include (e.g., aircraft rental, instructor fees, exams)? Do you assist students with job placement after they complete their commercial pilot training?

KeymasterHello DatBoi,
We offers flight training programs for private, commercial, and airline pilots, including PPL, Instrument Rating, CPL, and CFI courses.
All Epic Flight Academy flight instructors are FAA-certified and hold a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating, with many also having CFII or MEI credentials. They typically have at least 250 flight hours, though more experienced instructors with higher hours are also available.
Epic Flight Academy is extremely proud of our student-to-instructor ratio. We typically enroll between 200 and 250 students on campus at any given time and employ approximately 70 to 75 flight instructors, many of whom trained right here at Epic. This means we keep our student-to-instructor ration at approximately 3 or 4 students per instructor ensuring a high degree of personalized instruction.
We can students from zero experience to CPL. Our Airline Pilot Program for international students takes you through all the training necessary to become a professional pilot under FAA standards. For international students, tuition is $69,917.00, and it takes approximately 7 months to complete the training. https://epicflightacademy.com/international-pilot-pathway/
The program includes Private Pilot Course (3 Months), Instrument Rating (2 Months), Commercial Pilot Single-Engine Course (2 Months) and Commercial Multi-Engine Add On Course (3 weeks). Non-tuition costs like foods and accommodation are not included.

Hiring is ultimately up to the efforts of the individual. Many Epic students from outside of the US will return to their home country to seek employment once they have completed their pilot training at Epic Flight Academy. Every airline has its own set of hiring requirements, and we encourage our students to review a particular airline’s hiring requirements before applying for a First Officer or Captain position.
