The Aircraft Mechanic tuition is $19,500 plus $300 for books and $1,500 for tools. (You will own these tools.) A $45 application fee, 3 FAA exams at the end of the 3 courses, and upon completion of the program, there is an FAA oral exam and an FAA practical exam for $1,050 in total. To become a trained aircraft mechanic at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA you must: 1) Be 18 years old either prior to starting the program OR by completion of the program. 2) Speak English proficiently and 3) Pass an entry level exam. Once you have qualified to enroll, you must pay a $45 enrollment fee.
Next, you will need to pay $250 of your tuition before beginning your first course. After that, you can pay as you go. (Tuition is $19,500 total; books are $300; toolkit, which you will keep, are $1,500.)
