How old do you have to be to attend? What education is required, and what other dates do courses start in 2025? Preferably after May of 2025 as I am a senior in highschool and am interested in becoming and aircraft mechanic. I am also interested as to what the starting salary would be for a cargo airliner, specifically CVG.

To become a trained aircraft mechanic at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA you must:
1) Be 18 years old either prior to starting the program OR by the completion of the program.
2) Speak English proficiently.
3) Pass an entry-level exam.
4) Completed high school or secondary education.Currently, February 17, 2025 (Erlanger, KY and New Smyrna Beach, FL) will be the start date.
Starting pay for aircraft mechanics is in the neighborhood of $60,000, but this will vary depending on which company you choose for your employer. The pay per hour ranges from $20 to $50 depending on multiple factors.
