To become a trained airline pilot at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA you must:
1) Be at least 17 years of age
2) Speak English proficiently
3) International students must have a valid passport (Passport information: https://epicflightacademy.com/passports/) or two other forms of identification if you are from the USA
4) Completed high school or high school equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC)To train in the U.S. at Epic Flight Academy, you’ll first apply so we can issue your I-20 form. With that, you’ll schedule your interview at the U.S. Embassy to secure your M-1 student visa. Once approved, you can travel to Florida, settle into housing, and start your pilot training.

To get to the US from Bangladesh in 2026, you must first secure a visa. As of January 21, 2026, the US has indefinitely paused the issuance of all immigrant visas for Bangladeshi nationals. However, you can still apply for non-immigrant visas (tourist/business B1/B2 or student F1).
1. The Visa Process
Form DS-160: Complete this online non-immigrant visa application.Visa Fee: Pay the required fee (roughly $185 for B1/B2).
Interview: Schedule an appointment at the US Embassy in Dhaka.
Security Bond: Be prepared; some applicants may now be required to pay a public charge bond (up to $15,000) at the interview.
2. Flight Options
There are no direct flights from Dhaka (DAC) to the US. Most travelers use the following routes:Via Middle East: Emirates (via Dubai) or Qatar Airways (via Doha) are the most popular for comfort and easy connections.
Via Turkey: Biman Bangladesh or Turkish Airlines via Istanbul.
Via Canada: Biman flies to Toronto, where you can catch a short connection to major US cities like New York or Chicago.
