Do I need to be a permanent resident or have a green card to study in the US and later join a US Airline?

    Hello its.SM,

No. We welcome international students from all over the world. To become a trained airline pilot at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, USA you must:
    1) Be at least 17 years of age
    2) Speak English proficiently
    3) International students must have a valid passport (Passport information: https://epicflightacademy.com/passports/) or two other forms of identification if you are from the USA
    4) Completed high school or secondary education (Grades don’t matter, only that you completed school.)

Earning a CPL at Epic Flight Academy does not automatically grant someone the authority to work in the United States.

To work in the United States, you must have one of the following:

    – A Permanent Resident Card (also known as a Green Card)
    – An Employment Authorization Document (work permit)
    or
    – An employment-related visa which allows you to work for a particular employer

Thank you for using our forum!
