Dear Sir / Madam,
I am a UK citizen living in South Africa and I want to obtain a FAA ATPL(H) as soon as possible. I have over 6,400 hours and hold ratings on the B412, B212, SK76, RH22 & RH44. I have received the FAA verification letter validating my SA licence and this FAA letter expires September 1st 2022. I have always travelled to the US for sim OPC training using the 2 year ESTA visa, but from what I gather, i would need to obtain TSA clearance to fly an actual aircraft that may be needed in the testing process along with perhaps another visa type? Please advise if you can assist and provide ballpark costs. If you are unable to help due to concentrating on fixed wing only then maybe you could recommend and pass my details onto another Helicopter flight school.
