ParticipantDear Scholarship Committee/Admissions Team.
I am very interested in applying for the pilot training scholarship. I would like to assure you that, should I be selected, I am fully prepared to cover the costs of obtaining a visa and any residence permits required to commence my training. I am choosing to make these arrangements only after selection in order to avoid unnecessary expenses in case my application is not successful.
I have a few questions to better understand the scope and structure of the scholarship:
1. Does the scholarship cover the full cost of training up to obtaining the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), including books, examination fees, and accommodation?
2. Are there any obligations to work for a specific company or airline after completing the training?
3. Does the scholarship include training equipment such as uniforms, headsets, and other pilot tools?
4. If a student’s performance falls below the required standard at any stage, is there a possibility of losing the scholarship?
5. After completing the training, does the programme offer job placement assistance for newly qualified pilots?Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.
Kind regards,
Fahad Ismael Mdimu.Anna – Epic Staff
KeymasterHello Fahad,
Here are the answers to your questions above.
1. Unfortunately, we do not offer scholarships for international students. All of our programs require students to cover their own tuition and expenses.
However, we encourage you to explore external scholarship opportunities or financial aid options that may be available in your home country. Feel free to review funding suggestions here: https://epicflightacademy.com/flight-school-financing-international/ Best of luck!2. Sorry, but no. Epic Flight Academy can only assist students with M-1 visa which does not allow you to work in USA but only to study full-time. Hiring is ultimately up to the efforts of the individual. Many Epic students from outside of the US will return to their home country to seek employment once they have completed their pilot training at Epic Flight Academy.
3&4. Same as number 1.
5. Same as number 2. Also, every airline has its own set of hiring requirements, and we encourage our students to review a particular airline’s hiring requirements before applying for a First Officer or Captain position.
Here is an article on hiring requirements for airlines around the world: https://epicflightacademy.com/commercial-airline-hiring-requirements/
