Participantam interested in whether it is possible to convert my engineering license, issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Kyrgyz Republic (B1/B2), into an FAA license at your academy.
I would like to know what steps are required for this conversion, and if you could provide guidance on which specific modules need to be completed, how many modules are required, the duration of the training or certification process, and the estimated costs involved.
Additionally, please let me know if it is possible to receive study materials or courses from your academy to prepare for the FAA certification exams.

KeymasterHello Abdurauf,
Please contact the FAA since we do not offer a conversion for the aircraft mechanic license.
I believe you need to set an appointment with the Flight Standard District Office (FSDO) or
International Field Office (IFO) and interview in person with an FAA maintenance inspector to determine if you meet the part 65 requirements.
To confirm that, please contact FAA directly. Here is their official website: https://www.faa.gov/At this time, Epic Flight Academy does not offer a standalone preparation course solely for the written and practical exams without full enrollment in the 19-month Aircraft Mechanic program. To take the FAA exams through Epic, students must be enrolled in and complete the full program to ensure they meet all training requirements.
To see if you qualify for this training, please complete this pre-qualification form: https://epicflightacademy.com/aircraft-mechanic-application/
Thank you for using our forum!
