What is the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority?

The Albanian government established the Civil Aviation Authority (ACAA) in 1992. It is located at Tirana, the capital city of Albania. This government agency was formerly known as General Directorate of Civil Aviation. Albania is also a Pan-European Partner of ESA, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency. The Authority regulates aviation in Albania, including airports, aircraft, and pilots.
