The highly anticipated 2014 Melbourne International Air & Space Show Organized by the National Air, Sea & Space Foundation, Sponsored by Northrop Grumman, Launches Oct 4th, 2014 at 9 AM.

The city of Melbourne is buzzing this week in anticipation of the Air and Space Expo, and with over 100,000+ expected to watch this energy packed aviation event this weekend is more than enough of a reason for the excitement. The Air and Space show is forecast to generate over $7 million in local economic revenue in culmination with whatever else spectators and visitors spend while visiting the area.

Northrop Grumman, the primary sponsor of the Air and Space Show and Aviation Career Day at the TechXpo event, is offering 250 students exclusive access to the general assembly discussions and conferences, aircraft tours, and a behind the scene walk through of the entire event.

The festivities jump start the night before, Oct.3 2014, 7 PM, at the Air and Space Show Take off Party on Oct. 3rd.

Anyone interested in attending the Melbourne Air and Space Show can pre-purchase tickets for a discount, otherwise day of event tickets prices are as follow-
– $20 for adults (Ages- 13+)
– $15 for children(Ages 6-12)
– $150 Flight Line VIP- includes: private seating on the flight line under the clubhouse tent, VIP reserved parking, lunch, beverages, event programs and private restrooms.

The Melbourne Air and Space Show Aerial Events

-U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds,
-U.S. Army Silver Wings parachute jump team
-Airplane Stunts and Aerobatic demonstrations from Greg Connell, Gary Ward and Kent Pietsch
-Aviation exhibitions will feature the F-4U Corsair Demo, the L-39 Jet Demo, the Super Decathlon, the Wild Waco, the brand new Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk unmanned aerial system, the Northrop Grumman E-2C Hawkeye, along with many other different types of new and old aircraft on display.
